It was just for a few drinks, her friends begged. She never went out, but something compelled her to join them that evening at Calhoun Street Emporium, a busy little bar in the heart of downtown. She was completely minding her own business when a handsome man stepped up beside her and proceeded to ask for her number. Although her heart had already skipped a beat, she denied him and claimed she didn’t even know him, so why would she give him her number? “Well, I’m Matt and I love a good book and long walks on the beach.” he said sarcastically.
It won her over. She scribbled her number and handed it to him, assuming that he would never call or it’d fizzle out in the first few days. But Molly soon realized that Matt was different. His quiet, sarcastic and hilarious personality made her laugh, and he added light into her life like no one else could.
They’ll get married next spring, surrounded by hundreds of their family and friends that love them so dearly. I really can’t wait for their wedding, the bright pops of pink and to spend the day laughing and exploring with these two again. Happy Wedding Planning, Molly and Matt, I can’t wait until May! xoxo- M
