A decade long journey ended as Tori and Brett stood side by side under the gorgeous floral arch at Strongwater Events at the beginning of October. Ten years. Ten years of breweries, dogs, supporting each other’s careers, and being welcomed into each other’s families – it had finally all come to a head on a perfect autumn day.
The chaos and bustle instantly calmed the moment Tori walked in the room to greet Brett during their first look. Back to back – because they couldn’t bear to look each other in the eyes and be flooded with emotion – they read each other letters that had been slowly coming to fruition for the entire decade that they had spent by each others side. Not a single dry eye was to be found as the speeches were made and champagne was poured – every single person in the room had waited just as long for this day as Tori and Brett had.
Can we take a minute to pause and talk about this flawless decor? Seriously some of the prettiest, most creative decor I’ve ever seen. Not only did Tori and Brett keep with the season, but they integrated so many bits and pieces of their personality in with the day too – from giant games like Connect Four to an elaborate cheese board to celebrate Brett’s career, every single detail was carefully and perfectly thought out.
Tori and Brett, GAH you are perfect. This day was perfect. You are my favorites and I’m so so grateful that we were allowed to document the day you poured so much energy into, and the relationship that deserved to be honored after all of that time. Thank you. So much. All the love – M & M & K
