They knew that they wanted to get married in the city where they fell in love. Kristen and Bobby couldn’t imagine reciting their vows anywhere else and when they stepped onto the Skydeck, Chicago, they knew that that was the place. The highest point of the city, practically on top of the world, looking over all of the buildings that helped them shape their life together. Chicago was where they shared their first apartment and where Bobby proposed in front of Buckingham Fountain on that hot July day. It’s where they became them.

Chicago, in return, embraced their wedding day and gave them 55mph winds and cloudy cool air that is so typical of the Windy City. But even with the blustery day, it didn’t change the look on Bobby’s face when he turned around to see his bride, and it didn’t change the fact that tears were shed by so many guests when Kristen walked down the aisle to Bobby. Mini tacos and champagne were passed to guests as the closest of family and friends looked out over the Chicago Skyline and talked about how perfect the day was. And it really was.

Kristen and Bobby, having us there to document your day after all the years you spent working towards it was the biggest honor and privilege and we can’t thank you enough. You two have the biggest hearts and made us feel so welcome and like a long lost friend. Have the best time on all your honeymoons and life together. All the love – xx, M & K
