She didn’t want to go out that night. But as her friend pleaded and begged, Tricia gave in. They stopped by a friends house before heading to the bar. Tricia couldn’t help but notice the shy man sitting on the couch, with the constant chatter and clinking of wine glasses encompassing the room around him. She gathered the courage to sit next to him and start a conversation. Something about his quite demeanor and gentle but assertive personality immediately captured her heart. Weeks later, they found themselves both sitting on the couch at the parties, oblivious to the buzz around them. They were too encapsulated on each other and the relationship that was quickly growing between them.
Their worlds started revolving around each other and they started to build a life together. They were simply happy being beside each other and experiencing life hand in hand. On a staycation in Fort Wayne one weekend, Matt took Tricia to a winery she had been begging to visit for months. As they walked through the vineyard, Matt got down on one knee and they started planning their future together.
They’ll be married next year at The Orchid among family and friends. Matt and Tricia, thank you so much for exploring downtown with me and your choice of murals was on point! Counting down the days till your big day! xx- M
