He was the wild child of the family. The boy with skinned knees and mud on his boots – the boy who always fought back when someone told him what to do. He spent his days amongst his parents stables, training horses and traveling the nation for shows. It was only destiny that he would meet the girl that would calm his untamed heart at a horse show.
Kelsey and Tyler were both just young teenagers at the time they met, and spent the next decade in a close friendship and a short year of dating in high school. It took some time, but after several relationships that just didn’t feel quite “right,” and the start of a career, Tyler realized- it had always been Kelsey. From then on, they both poured their heart and soul into making the relationship everlasting. After years of a long distance relationship, Skype calls, and revolving their lives around each other, Kelsey moved up north and Tyler handed her a family heirloom diamond in a quite little garden in the middle of downtown Fort Wayne. After years of anxiously awaiting the moment where Kelsey could answer Tyler’s question and promise to be his wife, she exclaimed Yes! as tears were in both of their eyes.
They’ll be married next autumn in Wisconsin, surrounded by family and friends from all over the nation that have supported them on this journey. Brandon and I are so blessed to call them best friends and brunch buddies, and can’t wait to stand beside them on their magical day. xx- M
